Introduction

rKOALA is a locked version of KOALA created to reward early users of KoalaSwap. Participants earn rKOALA by providing liquidity.

Each rKOALA gradually converts 1:1 into KOALA over six months, following this schedule:

• 20% unlocks instantly: redeemable right away.

• 80% unlocks linearly over six months.

• Locked KOALA that isn’t fully vested will be forfeited and burned.

Example

Bob provides $10,000 in liquidity on KoalaSwap and earns 100 rKOALA monthly. After three months, she claims 300 rKOALA, starting a new six-month unlock period for 300 KOALA.

He can:

• Redeem immediately: claim 60 KOALA (20%), forfeiting the rest.

• Wait six months: receive the full 300 KOALA.

• Claim partially: withdraw a vested portion at any time.

Each claim creates a separate vesting schedule, so rKOALA acts as a semi-non-fungible reward token even though it follows the ERC-20 standard.

Once you deposit, rKOALA rewards start accumulating automatically and are displayed in your KoalaSwap dashboard.

Note: Rewards are distributed via Brevis Incentra, and updates may take up to 6 hours to appear.

How to Convert rKOALA → KOALA

Claim your rKOALA from the Brevis Incentra dashboard to start vesting. You can redeem vested KOALA anytime — but unvested tokens will be burned if claimed early.
